NACSB Receives Statement of Appreciation for “Go Pink-Out” Event

Illinois Central’s Waukegan location received a strong statement of appreciation for all of the generous support that has been provided for the “Go Pink-Out” event. Over the past several years, Illinois Central has always donated the four buses used to transport the WHS students to the Laremont Mini Pink-Out Pep Rally.

This event is attended by the Boy’s & Girl’s Varsity Teams, Poms, Cheerleaders, Pep Band, and the JROTC Drill Team. This year, the event was held on the morning of January 17th, 2018. After each program performs a short performance, the students from both schools have an opportunity to interact in a very positive manner.

This annual event occurs every year due to the generous support of Illinois Central, and it would not happen without their help. The Mini Pep Rally is the best example of a super “Win-Win” for all of the students who attend.
