Under limited supervision, dispatch all buses to ensure on-time performance of service within an assigned geographical area.
Leads and analyzes, under limited supervision, the payroll, billing, and accounts receivable functions for assigned operating locations.
Maintains, repairs, and overhauls school buses and other company vehicles. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of maintenance tasks. May direct the work of others. Works under general supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. May assist in training less experienced technicians or new employees.
Assist the driver in the safe operation of the route and manage students as defined/identified by school.
Oversee the day-to-day purchasing, item master updates, parts standardization and warranty claims duties for the NACSB fleet. Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure quality and pricing meet NACSB expectations.
Handle all payroll needs, assignments, and other clerical duties as needed.
This position involves responsibility for assisting in the scheduling and timing of bus routes and drivers for the school district. Additionally, the person maintains related transportation records and fills in as a substitute bus driver as needed.
Manages and provides oversight of safety program to support the Contract Manager, Assistant Contract Manager, and Regional Safety Manager to create a positive safety culture & to deliver expected safety results.
Primary Responsibility is to safely transport passengers in multiple types of vehicles, including those with manual and automatic transmissions.
